Believe it or not this is a chopstick rest but I don't think that many of the people who buy these are using it that way. They are just too cute. A few years ago one was featured in a weekend paper and our phone rang hot for days with enquiries. Shoko is a japanese ceramic artist who has lived in Melbourne for many years, her work is well known for its humorous eccentricities. There are many more examples of her work instore. I think every home should have a piece of Shoko in it.
